Mel Reiman Recreation Area– 11 miles north of Valley City Via River road. Featuring 6 tent sites, 21 RV sites, 14 electric, showers, swimming beach, playground, and boat launch. Fish cleaning station and also a boat cleaning station are available near the launch. This recreation area is managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. This launch is accessible by pavement. There is also food nearby.
Sundstroms Landing – 10 miles north of Valley City and 2 Miles west. Featuring Vault toilets, fish cleaning station, accessible fishing pier and a boat launch. There is also a playground and pavilion. Some gravel travel required to reach this boat ramp.
Eggerts Landing– 12 miles north of Valley City and .5 miles west. Featuring fish cleaning station, vault toilets and boat launch. This launch also has all pavement access. There is also camping, playground and swim area located north of the boat launch.
Katie Olson landing– Via river road 14.5 miles north and 3 miles east.
Ashtabula Crossing- 16.5 miles north of Valley City. All pavement access. Fish cleaning facility, campgrounds, food nearby, accessible fishing pier, east and west boat launch.
Sibley Landing– 23.5 miles north of Valley City. All Pavement access. Food nearby, bathrooms and boat launch.
Karnak Landing– 24 miles north of Valley City, 5 miles west. Some gravel travel required.
Baldhill Dam – There is no boating access here but it does offer some excellent fishing access in the tail race. Keep this in mind if you are looking for a spot to fish from shore. Its quite a hike down but this fishing is usually very good.
